•USHJA Foundation Zone Awards: The goal of the awards program is to recognize the accomplishments of the grassroots equestrians and to promote the B and C level competitions. This awards program is a separate program from the USEF Horse of the Year Program. The USHJA Foundations Awards are an additional and unique awards program that you are automatically enrolled in by being a member of USHJA and competing in B and C rated competitions. Awards will be given to the top eight (8) in each division in each Zone. The champion of each division in each Zone will be invited to the USHJA Annual Meeting to receive their awards.
•USHJA Affiliate Sportsmanship Awards Program: The goal of the USHJA Affiliate Sportsmanship Awards Program is to recognize outstanding juniors, amateurs, professional riders, and riding instructors who exemplify good horsemanship, sportsmanship and integrity for the sport and exhibitors.
USHJA Nominee for the
This award program is designed for junior exhibitors who are current members of both the USEF and their recognized national affiliate. The youth candidates are to demonstrate an ongoing commitment and dedication to the USEF and their affiliate, through the promotion of the horse and to serve as a role model for their peers.
Nominations for the Youth Sportsman Charter should be sent to your Zone Chairman between August 1, 2008 and September 26, 2008:
